How to record someone’s keystrokes on Android?

If you are guilty of peeking at others’ screen while commuting, you my friend, are no different from the rest of us. We all have done this at least once in our lives. However, to save the embarrassment of others catching you in the act, we have found a better way to know what others are typing on their phones; it’s called Keystrokes Logging, which records everything that a person types on their phone, including the messages that were typed but never sent.

A keylogger gets in between two links in the chain of events when a key is pressed and when information about that keystroke is displayed on the monitor. A keylogger app for Android allows you to record keystrokes on any Android device. These apps can bypass the protection built into the Android operating system that prevents a certain program from reading or recording keystrokes. Some experts say that a keylogger does not have to be a software, it can also be a device but such devices are not that popular.

Are there any prerequisites for recording keystrokes?

The only prerequisite for using the methods above to record keystrokes is to get physical access to the Android device for the purpose of installing the Keylogger app for Android.

How do these keylogging apps operate?

Everything technical happens at the backend. On the front-end, the keylogger app, once installed, is activated and constantly records the activity on the phone. You don’t have to manually do anything for the app to activate and record the keystrokes made on the Android phone. Everything happens automatically. The best part is you will miss nothing, not even the text that a person types but doesn’t send to the recipient.

The Keylogger app for Android runs in the background. It does not disrupt the phone’s functions nor does it disrupt the functions of other apps installed on the device. You can also choose to hide the icon of the app if you want to keep this mission discrete.

These keylogging programs are different than what cybercriminals use to record keystrokes with a malicious or criminal intent. They use sophisticated malware programs for stealing user data such as their credit card information or any other personal information. Some of these programs can also record the user’s password. Such keylogging programs can spread in your device through various ways. (1) Through the internet when you open a malicious URL. (2) When you connect your phone to a public Wi-Fi. (3) When a file is launched from an open access directory on a peer-to peer-network. (4) When a user opens malicious a file attached to their email. Once the keylogger .exe file is downloaded on your phone, it is installed automatically. The keylogger keeps on running in the background and sends your precious data to criminals.

Note: Remember that these Keylogger apps for Android can only be used after you buy their subscription. For some of these methods to function, you must root the Android device.
